Give A Feed 2026 launches 1 November: here’s how you can help

Christmas is coming, and so is Give A Feed. On Sunday 1 November 2026 our annual Christmas hamper appeal officially opens, and this year our goal is bigger than ever: 3,000 Give A Feed Christmas hampers for West Australian families doing it tough.

Every $50 hamper is packed with festive food for a family of four, from Christmas cake and custard to a tinned leg ham and all the trimmings. 100% of every donation goes to our proud partner Foodbank WA, and every hamper is fully tax deductible.

It’s more than a hamper. It’s a message to a family that someone is thinking of them, and that they are not alone at Christmas.

Why it matters

Cost of living pressure is being felt right across our state. Around 231,000 WA households are severely food insecure, and more and more of them have children. For many families, Christmas is the hardest time of year to make ends meet. Since 2011, Give A Feed has helped share more than 42,000 hampers with WA families in need. In 2026, we want to make this our biggest Christmas yet.

Throughout November we’ll be packing hampers at Foodbank WA, and we’d love you to join us. Packing days are fun, fast and genuinely rewarding: put on the music, form a line and watch the boxes stack up for families across WA.

Bring your family, your friends, your sports club or your whole workplace. Teams are welcome and it makes a brilliant end-of-year team building day.

Register your interest: simply send us a message with your name, how many people you’d like to bring and which days suit you, and we’ll be in touch with dates and details.

After raising $50,000 last year, Motivate Ultra’s Charity Spin returns in 2026 with six days of riding across five Perth locations. Give A Feed is proud to again be one of the charities supported, alongside Starfish Nippers, the Steve Waugh Foundation and Kai Fella.

Give A Feed, or gift one

From 1 November you can donate hampers in seconds, or Gift A Hamper in the name of someone special. Instead of another pair of socks or a candle, they receive your personal message and their own certificate, and you share the gift of giving with a WA family in need. It’s the perfect present for clients, staff, teachers, Kris Kringle or the person who has everything.

Other ways to help

Businesses: become a partner, sponsor hampers for your team or customers, or run a workplace appeal. Request to become a partner.
Clubs and schools: hold a fundraiser, a sausage sizzle or a casual clothes day.
